How to build your own guest book that the couple can cherish for years.
So we had the donut stand done…check. Dress picked out…check. Flower ideas…check. Now for the guest book, my daughter wanted something personal.
We saw a lot of wonderful things: puzzle pieces your guests can sign their name on and (once that honeymoon is over) you put together and glue wooden leaves you can have your guests sign and insert into a picture, you name it…the idea is out there.
My daughter however is a visionary. She knows what she wants and can see how it looks before it has even begun. She wanted a plaque. Not any plaque but a wooden plaque that she could have her guests sign and she could place on her wall. So my husband carved it and I stenciled it- and it became her guest book.
If there is enough interest, I will have this listed on Etsy if you’d like to purchase one.
You don’t need to, it isn’t mandatory. However, it is beautiful and looks gorgeous hanging in her home.
